In early October, Piazza Grande and the avenues of Palmanova host the traditional Fair of Santa Giustina. Visitors can sample local, Italian, and international food and wine specialties, browse market stalls and craft displays in the heart of the star-shaped city. Also in Piazza Grande, the traditional amusement park features over 30 attractions each year, including rides for young children.
On October 7, Palmanova celebrates its co-patron saint (alongside Saint Mark), Santa Giustina. On the weekend closest to this date, the city hosts this traditional festival alongside a month of activities including cultural events, photo and art exhibitions, concerts, and much more.
